A Challenging & Fun Golf Course in Corsicana, TX

Established in 1935, The Oaks Golf Course changed hands many times before the Sanders Family purchased the course in 2015. Since then, we’ve been working hard to restore the course to its former glory. Our nine-hole course is great for both novice and experienced golfers who want to take their game to the next level. Our lush fairways and greens reward players throughout their round. We have creeks that meander throughout the course, where water comes into play in seven of the nine holes.

A Brief History on The Oaks Golf Course

Our 36-par, 3120-yard course was designed and built in 1935. The first clubhouse was built in 1937 by J.Q. Hickson and then in the summer of 1960, then owner Paul Rash converted the greens from sand to grass. In 1990, owner Sonny Jameson installed a driving range. In 1991, the course was purchased by Joe Atkeisson and made many changes until the course was rebranded to Oak Trail in 2000. The Sanders Family bought it in 2015, renamed the course back to its original name, The Oaks. They also revamped the grounds, clubhouse, and developed The Moontower at The Oaks into a popular destination in Corsicana, TX.
